SCIENCE SATURDAY STARTERS -Informational Meeting

Saturday Science Starters (S3) is a science outreach program for middle- and high-school students in New York City (grades 7-9.) Several times a semester we organize a day of science education and hands-on experiments for a group of about 20 students. This program is a lot of fun, but we need more volunteers! There are two roles that we need volunteers for: people to choose and organize experiments to do with the kids, and volunteers to help us out in leading the kids on the day of the event. The S3 chairmen take care of the pesky administrative tasks and guide you in planning the day.
The S3 event this semester is scheduled for Saturday, December 7th, and will take place on campus.
If you are interested in planning experiments, day-of volunteering, or if you have any questions or concerns, please come to the informational meeting or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
