WISC Undergraduate Mentoring Event: Why Major in the Sciences?

WISC Undergraduate Mentoring Event:
Why Major in the Sciences?

Date: Thursday Nov 20
Time: 7:00 – 9:00PM
Location: Fairchild, Room 700

Unlike the Majors Open House events that focus on specific requirements for completing the degree, we plan to focus on “bigger picture” reasons why studying science is gratifying and provide the opportunity for undergraduates to learn more about their potential field of interest  from current graduate students in STEM departments at Columbia.

For those who are interested, this will also be an opportunity to link undergraduates with potential graduate student mentors.

Dinner will be provided.

Please RSVP here if you plan to participate in order to receive more details on the agenda for the event.
