In 2014, WISC introduced two awards to recognize their members for their contributions. Through the efforts of these members and others, WISC has continued to offer programming for supporting women in STEM. As a volunteer student organization, WISC truly values our members who have given so much of their time and energy to keep WISC running and improve WISC for the future.
WISC is honored to offer this award named after Lisa Carnoy, Columbia College 1989, who has supported WISC as an advocate for women’s leadership and women in STEM. This award recognizes our members who have demonstrated superb leadership with WISC and who have truly made a significant impact on improving WISC for both current and future members.
The WISC Achievement Award recognizes our members for performing above and beyond. These members have not only demonstrated a passion to helping WISC, but have seen it through to make invaluable contributions to our organization.
