Formal mentoring opportunities for undergraduates interested in the sciences are few and far between. In order to help provide early-career scientists at Columbia with exposure to what life as a scientist entails and opportunities to become more involved with scientific research on campus, WISC is developing a graduate-to-undergraduate mentoring program for STEM students of all gender identities.
The WISC Undergraduate Mentoring Program organizes events aimed at creating a platform for fostering relationships between STEM mentors who wish to pass down their knowledge and mentees who seek this guidance.
